When this website started in 2017 Google Adsense provided a source of income which covered the hosting costs for this site.
Now it barely covers those costs. It is also more intrusive and displays block adverts when switching pages. We have no control over this.
We may remove Google Adsense in the future if a better alternative can be found, but at the moment we will stick with it unless it affects the user experience more.
